Mahogany resident in critical condition after being attacked with machete in bedroom
A Mahogany Heights resident is tonight in critical, but stable condition at the K.H.M.H. following a chopping incident inside his home. In the dead of night, shortly after twelve o’clock this morning, Kenneth Flowers was sleeping inside his residence in the western community when a machete wielding man entered the bedroom and inflicted several chop wounds to his face. Hattieville Police responded to the scene and upon arrival found Flowers in a sitting position with three large chop wound to his face and bleeding profusely. He was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he is now admitted in a serious, but stable condition. Police have since detained two young men, also of Mahogany Heights, pending the outcome of the investigations.
