Be The Next Superstar Winner Chosen, Finale Highlights
There’s a new Superstar tonight. After grueling weeks of performances at the Bliss, and tough competition among talented performances, Be the Next Superstar Season Two closed on Tuesday night with a spectacular show. The four finalists walked the red carpet to a packed auditorium as the audience and viewers at home waited for the announcement of this season’s Superstar. But before that was revealed, Lova Boy built up the suspense with an energetic piece. Duane Moody, the host of the red carpet, has his take on the closing act.

Chad Wade and Shannelly Sutherland are the winners of season two of the hottest local entertainment show in Belize, Be the Next Superstar.
The star-studded event started with a live red carpet featuring last season’s winner, Ascenthium. Also working the carpet were the judges; hosts, Marleni and Yannickah; C.E.O. and Executive Producer, Amalia Mai; and of course, the four finalists: The Truth, Emmanuel Mangar, Marlyn Vansen and Chad Wade only. His partner in rhyme, Shannelly Sutherland is yet to return from CARIFESTA in Suriname.
It then moved in to the auditorium where the audience and the viewers at home were entertained one last time by the final four. As a special and exclusive treat for Channel Five fans and supporters, Prince of Belize, Lova Boy, gave an outstanding, energy filled guest performance.
But in the end, people held their breaths as the hosts revealed the results and who won the ten thousand dollars cash prize. Overwhelmed with joy, Chad was a man of few words as we grabbed an interview with him.

Congrats to the winners, especially Shannelly Sutherland. I saw her growing up as a kid taking her glasses and running with it to tease her. A huge Big Up to her and Mr. Chad. Congrats again looking forward for seeing them accomplish big things in Belize and elsewhere.
