Gaspar Vega visits border area of Peten

As we mentioned earlier, Minister John Saldivar has been acting as Prime Minister in the absence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Gaspar Vega. The Minister of Natural Resources is on an official visit to the border area of Peten, Guatemala. According to his ministry, while attending the First National Livestock, Vega met with the Guatemalan Minister of Agriculture, Elmer Lopez, and discussed cross border collaboration. It was agreed that efforts would double to control the spread of the Mediterranean Fruit Fly.
