Drunk man shoots brother w/ shotgun

A shooting incident over the weekend in San Ignacio has left one man injured and his brother accused of the crime. Cops out west tell News Five that around seven on Sunday night, Carmen Vasquez arrived home drunk and apparently he and his brother, thirty-six year old Rafael Vasquez, got into a quarrel. The exchange of words came to an abrupt end when the inebriated man picked up a shotgun and pulled the trigger. Pellets struck Rafael in his abdomen, left arm and left leg. He was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital, where he remains in stable but serious condition. Following the incident, Carmen ran away from the scene but this afternoon, accompanied by his father, he turned himself into police. He has been detained pending further investigations by authorities.
