Taiwanese protocol officer complains negligent behaviour by Edmund “Clear the Land” Castro

Edmund Castro

Minister of State in the Ministry of Transport, Edmund “Clear the Land” Castro, has been accused of negligent behavior of a sexual nature. The news came out of Taiwan late last week and News Five has been able to receive verification. First, the incident… Castro was in Taiwan at the invitation of that government along with a delegation from City Council that including Mayor Darrell Bradley and Eric Chang. Castro is accused of making unwelcomed sexual advances toward a Taiwanese protocol officer attached to him as a chaperone. That female immediately reported the incident to her superiors in Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And that is what led to the complaint – again, News Five has been able to confirm that Ambassador David Wu is the person who placed an immediate call to Prime Minister Dean Barrow, advising that a report had been made by the officer.  Confirmed again is that Castro was seen attending Cabinet today and we suspect that he was there to answer to the allegations against him. It is doubtful at this time whether Cabinet will act against Castro following what is at least a black eye on the country. We were not able to reach Castro or the Prime Minister today, but News Five has been informed that Castro has denied those allegations against him. Today, the Taiwanese Embassy in Belize would only say that they are awaiting official word from Taipei before commenting on the matter. We note that Castro was fired in 2010 following an incident in which he was paid money to procure a piece of land for woman. He received the money, but she never received the land. He was reinstated in 2012.

UDP ain’t corrupt, just brain dead

what do you expect from a pack of UDP gibnuts officially visiting another country?
They just think the same stunts they pull here, fly in other countries.

Chang in prison collecting campaign contributions from a future Belizean citizen.
Castro on booty call. Too cheap to hire a hooker at his high dollar hotel digs.
    Penner penning passports.
Too bad Barrow did not go, that could have been the whopper.

BTW, prostitution is illegal in Taiwan.
But we are talking about the Belize UDP delegation running amok, who cares?
It is Belize’s international reputation that must be upheld, like when the PUP attorney general getting arrested drunk on a airplane making threats. Got a lot of fool talent in the Jewel.

How many of the clowns went on this junket?
What did these jokers do officially?

  2. BelizeaninAsia says:

It is so embarrasing the kind of people who are leading Belize. It is a shame to all Belize living in Belize or abroad. As a people we are so passive; passive to our own hurt!

  3. FedUp says:

Did anyone expect any better from this despicable, Rasta wannabe? He stands for nothing and falls for anything. He preys on the ignorance of people to secure his votes. His political game is a primitive one and his brain power is limited because his blood flow is concentrated in his lower extremities. He should never be allowed to represent Belize in any international setting. All these crude, crass pieces of crap politicians should be properly screened before they are allowed off their leashes. A poor excuse of a man like this should never have been allowed to reproduce because his offspring is no better. Why was God sleeping while this man was spreading his seed?

  4. Concern says:

Castro, you are not Julius Caesar, and the protocol officer attached to you as a chaperone, is a PROTOCOL OFFICER, not a CONCUBINE! What an embarrassment and massive black eye you put on the Belizean people, and then you have the nerve to say, you did nada, zilch, nothing…lol You ragamuffins are disgrace! No wonder the PM have to be minister of everything.

  5. Chaperone not Conscientious, just brain dead says:

Taiwanese chaperone not conscientious, just brain dead

UDPs, PUPs, NIPs, All Ps, officially on visit, “as yu see me you gimme.”
Stunts that fly here soar abroad. But it’s got to be the Big Man.

Chang has eyes and ears, has seen and heard. Doesn’t like double standards. If it’s good for the goose… Castro on booty call. Aren’t we all. Let’s do a spontaneous thing in my hotel digs. One eye wata and wipe yu mouth. I’m just asking. My hands are in my pocket. You can say no.

Junketers junketing junketees. Which side is not guilty?
Barrow had his share, and he didn’t deal with mares.

Bedroom athletics for money, legal in Taiwan.
But we are talking about Jewel boys staying sharp, who cares?
Good, Belize AG, no two-bit power-grubbing flight attendant in your face. Just had a shot of 80 proof can you smell it? I said I’m getting my jacket, not hijack it.

    Hippos hypoing the hypos=hypocrisy.

  6. Dumb Guy says:

One day one of these infidels will be abroad “just doing what they do at home”, but will be charged for rape and sent to jail for a good number of years. His explanation will be – I Neva do nothing. Man that second term really corrupts. It was no different when the PUP was in their second term. Maybe we should concede to the Guatemala claim as our own identity is criminal at best – and that’s our international identity. I feel for the PM right now as I believe he is a very honorable man but is stuck with this garbage at “Belize’s” highest official level.

  7. Sabinia Vellos says:

And yet some of you people will go right back and vote for them for a few hundred bucks, sad for out country, really sad!!

  8. SKEPTICAL says:

I agree with you Sabinia. People are so gullible and uniformed, so they fall for the same thing time and time again. We need a new political party who will have the peoples’ interests at heart; and not SPECIAL INTEREST!

  9. Kitchpan Tiana says:

This is shaming and disgraceful>one with high status should not act like he is desperate for …
I bet he is used to doing it with women here in Belize which is so degrading!!! I guess the head down there got the best of him not like he have any brain up there either its empty……

  10. Guerra says:

I feel for the PM right now as I believe he is a very honorable man. lol Are you joking. While others are disgracing the government, the family, the only good lawyers in Belize is raking the millions of $’s. They will say the worked for it, but win loose or draw, this family is smiling all the way to the bank. When ministers are sworn in without favor, that they would treat everybody equally, meaning no to nepotism. This when one enriches his or her family, but those were only words! lol

  11. bornherosays says:

Is ridiculous and a blak eye for the country, but these clowns made me laugh fi chu.
    Oh what a rat race!”
    What a disgrace.
