Cops continue search for alleged child molester

Police tonight may not be any closer to finding the man they believe attempted to molest a nine year girl in Camalote … but at least they now know who they’re looking for. An alert News Five viewer in the United Kingdom told us where to find a photo of Matthew Luce on the internet and we now share that picture with you. Luce, an Englishman, is the managing director of a real estate development on the Macal River called Barefoot Belize. It is alleged that on June fourteenth he induced a young girl to enter his SUV and offered her fifty dollars to sit on his lap. He was accosted by the girl’s mother before he could drive away with the child. Although Luce had arranged through his lawyers to come in and talk to police, he did not show up for the meeting and as a result authorities are now looking for him.
