Student caught with drugs

Three persons are in Police lockdown after an operation this morning netted a large amount of marijuana. Between six and nine a.m., Placencia Police and the Special Branch conducted searches of several homes on the peninsula. At the home of eighteen year old student Julian Diego, Police hit the jackpot. In a bedroom they found three separate parcels of marijuana, weighing in at two hundred and one point six grams, eleven point two grams and thirty-eight point six grams respectively. Beside Diego, two other persons were in the home during the search – twenty-six year old Billy Bernardez of a Dangriga Town address and thirty-one year old Emilio Sandoval of Seine Bight. All three men were arrested and charged jointly for one count of drug trafficking and two counts of possession of controlled drugs.
