More drugs taken off the street by GSU

The Gang Suppression Unit is reporting two drug seizures today. The first took place this morning in an abandoned overgrown lot on Allan Pitts Crescent in Belize City where a bag was found with over one pound of weed. Not far away the GSU found another bag containing approximately a pound and a half of weed. In the second search at two-thirty this afternoon, the officers proceeded to the Kraal Road area which is recognized as a gang drug base where they found one hundred and six grams of cannabis inside a black plastic bag.  A further search led to the discovery of fourteen grams of cannabis inside a black plastic bag tucked between coconut branches. No one was arrested.
