Efforts also being made to bail her husband and teenage sons
It was with the assistance from friends of the Nasser family and members of the Lebanese Community who posted bail and assisted with the process that this afternoon, Jaziba Nasser, was released from the confines of the Belize Central Prison. While not revealing too much information on the case, Ahmir Zriba told News Five that the Nassers are law abiding people on San Pedro who recently located to the house three months before the search…and husband, Nazim Nasser, is the holder of a licensed nine millimeter gun. The couple was not at home during the police search, according to Zriba.

“What I understood is that they called for the younger brother Bilal and they called for the older brother Jamal and they asked if can you bring him to police station. he took fifteen minutes and he took his brother to police station then they were asking questions and they took finger print and they let one of them out. Nobody knew about those bullets were in the safe; that’s the first thing that we know about. Two, I will take the advice from the lawyer from not to talk too much…thanks to the judge and everybody that looked into the matter and sorry for Mister Nasser wife, she is a pregnant lady for eight months. I appreciate that they allow us the bail. Hopefully there is another bail for Nasser and his family. And they are business people, good community; everybody know them is not a criminal. Even though we maneuver a little bit the law, we cannot break the law of course. Thank to Mister Dickie.”

“I know you were saying that of course Mister Nasser has a licensed firearm and not only that; they were only living there for about three months.”
Ahmir Zriba
“Recently they moved to that house. I know it is recently.”

“You also told me that of course there was that Mister Nasser and Misses Nasser, they weren’t at home at the time of the police search, but when they arrived ended up being arrested.”
Ahmir Zriba
“Something like that, but sorry, there is no comment on that because of the case.”
A bail application has also already been filed for the release of Nazim Nasser and his two sons. That application will be heard, according to Bradley, next week Friday.
