Unofficial P.S.E. s put Belize Elementary student on top

It may be the most poorly kept secret, but that hasn’t stopped the Ministry of Education from trying to keep the official list of this year’s P.S.E.’s top scorers hush-hush. Instead of its usual press release and media rounds, this year, the ministry has opted to make the exam stats public at a briefing scheduled for Thursday morning in Belize City. But while the administrators are keeping mum, parents and students have had the results since Tuesday and reports to News Five are that Belize Elementary School’s Tina Shen has taken top honours, followed closely by Grace Primary’s Mischa-Von-Derek Aikman in second place, while Donovan Holder of Hummingbird Elementary rounds out the top three.
