B.E.L.: Company did not ask for rate hike
In a clarification to our story regarding the P.U.C.’s decision on B.E.L.’s rate structure, today the company maintained to us that they had not proposed a rate hike. According to B.E.L., they are in full agreement with having current electricity rates apply to customers at approximately forty four cents per kilowatt hour.
