Special Envoy for Women and Children Kim Simplis-Barrow, wife of Prime Minister Dean Barrow, has been named Woman of the Year 2013 by Complexd Woman. The UK publication chose Simplis-Barrow, along with pediatric Surgeon Dorothy Kufeji, after being featured in a 2011 issue of the magazine. Her courage and determination in fighting breast cancer and continuous efforts at raising awareness about the disease landed her on the cover of the Women of Strength issue a year later. In June of last year, Simplis-Barrow, during a visit to the UK, called on Evelina Children’s Hospital, during which she was given an opportunity to speak with the staff of the facility. Kufeji would later contribute significantly to the Belize Children’s Trust Charity Gala, the proceeds of which will be used to support a number of initiatives in Belize.
They should have named her thief of the year along with her thieving man Robin Hood this must be some crackpot newspaper in England

she is an amazing woman a fighter, and i am very proud of she .I had the opportunity of work with her at the Radisson Fort George Hotel some years ago and she was always pleasent and nice.GOD BLESS YOU miss KIM and GOD BLESS our Beautiful country of BELIZE.
