Robbers take $16,000 in Orange Walk heist
Robbers in Orange Walk scored big on Friday afternoon. According to police, three dark complexioned men with bandanas over their faces entered Charms Amrapur’s Store, which also houses an office of Western Union. One of the men brandished a handgun and demanded money from the employees. The trio left with around sixteen thousand dollars in cash, jewellery and phone cards, and were seen driving south in a green Isuzu Trooper. That vehicle was later found abandoned in the area of Lord’s Bank Village near Ladyville. No arrests have yet been made.
