Baby needs urgent brain surgery
More than twenty-two children have been diagnosed with hydrocephalus, known locally in Belize as “water head.” One such patient is one-year old, Kimora Leslie. Kimora has already undergone ten surgeries to help her lead a normal life, but tonight she needs your help. According to Kimora’s grandmother, Shawn Lemoth, doctors have advised the family that the baby girl requires urgent surgery to replace the shunt in her head.
Shawn Lemoth, Leslie?s Grandmother
?She has gotten old and the muscle has grown over the shunt and it is malfunctioning and she is in urgent need of an operation at Medical Associates to replace the shunt.?
?The operation will cost ten thousand one hundred and fifty-three dollars and thirty three cents and the doctors are Dr. Giovanni Lara and Dr. Cervantes. And the reason why we have to go at Medical Associates is because apparently Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital doesn?t have any neurosurgeon at this time.?

?If the public would like to donate any kind of money or participate or give you any kind of assistance, what do you advise them to do??
Shawn Lemoth
?Well I would advise them if they could please help us and donate money at Holy Redeemer Credit Union account number five four nine seven zero.?
If you would like to help little Kimora, you can contact her grandmother, Shawn Lemoth, at telephone number 601-3024 or you can make a deposit to account number 54970 at the Holy Redeemer Credit Union. Kimora will turn two on May eighteenth.
