I.D.B. grant to fund airport security overhaul
Security measures at the Phillip Goldson International Airport will undergo an overhaul thanks to the I.D.B. According to a government press release, a grant of more than a hundred and forty-two thousand U.S. dollars will be used to beef up the Department of Civil Aviation and its staff in accordance with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization. The funds are being channelled through the Multi-lateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank. Coordinator for the security project is Scarleth Ayon-Neda.
