P.U.C. keeps current electricity rates
Belizean consumers will be relieved to know that electricity rates will not be going up for at least a year. Today the Public Utilities Commission issued its initial decision in the annual review proceedings for Belize Electricity Limited. According to the P.U.C., “The decision maintains the mean electricity rate and customer tariffs at existing levels for the annual tariff period July first, 2006 to June thirtieth, 2007.? B.E.L.
