Robbery suspects caught in Ladyville

Employees and customers at a factory on the Northern Highway were held up this afternoon, but within minutes police had picked up five suspects. Police say they responded to a call from Creative Tiles and Windows at mile two and a half that three unmasked men, one with a firearm, had held up the establishment. The robbers fled the scene in a green Isuzu Rodeo and headed up the Northern Highway towards Ladyville. The vehicle was found parked at a house in Lord’s Bank. Police found cash, jewellery, and a passport belonging to one of the victims inside the house and detained June Jones, Sherlock Martinez, Shaun Dortch, Herman Elijio, and Dario Cruichshank who were all in the house at the time. A nine millimeter pistol was also found on one of the men.
