Micah Williams is dead and he is another statistic to add to the murder count for 2014 which is going up quickly. Williams was shot to the right side of the temple and the single bullet lodged itself on his brain following a broad daylight shooting in front of his house on Raccoon Street Extension. Williams was cleaning his vehicle when two men on a bicycle approached and fired a single shot to his head.

So he tell them somebody already see him to get the rims so they already gone. They say one of the gunman just shoot him ina the head and the next one just disperse.”
Approximately twelve hours after, while he was about to undergo surgery, Micah passed. The family was notified around nine p.m.

“We went back to the hospital; they send call us and tell us that they will take him under emergency surgery and the doctor needed me to sign some papers because they didn’t to do the surgery without me signing some papers. And I went and I signed to do the emergency operation. Went to the theatre and explained what they were going to do; he is like fifty-fifty chance. They say he can make it through the surgery because he had internal bleeding inside, hemorrhage, and they need to crack his skull so that he can bleed—that the brains when it swell, it can give him a way that he can be a survival. When entering the theatre, the doctor came out and said that he passed away in surgery. He died with his eyes open; died in peace…very peaceful.”
The family is asking for justice for Micah’s murder. Lelia says that the person believed to be his killer is also a relative.
“I just want they give me justice that I need and deal with him because I think this is going too far. What next? I think they are going to knock at our door, put us out and take us over. So what next? This is the only thing left for them to do to us. Man, law, please do something. Mister Prime Minister this is very serious.”

“Tell us about what we are understanding that it is possible that his killer may be related to him?”
Lelia Williams
“Yes, his killer is a relative and I think he don’t know that; they are very close relatives.”

Micah’s body will be laid to rest on Sunday.
I feel for this mother. There need to be more voices. Where is the organization that had a voice against these killing, have they been intimidated to stop protesting.
Family against family, relatives against relatives, there is a terrible black cloud over this country. People need to return to God, much prayer.
Sorry for the family, but your son was giving Belize a bad name also with his shit and the same way he die the person that kill him will die. God is every were and he don’t like bad. Let them just kill each other out and do what you belizean are use to doing sit back and watch your sons die. Put it on pup and UDP. Don’t you people know that we the people give these parties power of our country so why can’t we the people stand up for our country. And take it back from these very bad people who ever they are. Can’t even walk to the shop without looking over your backs, in the gang or not is that what my Belize is. Work hard for yourself and family and you can’t even enjoy the things you have cause people worry someone will steal it or kill them for it. Belizean (some) (most) think things should be given to them
