The Recall and Order parody; a belly full of laughter

Last December, the Elections and Boundaries commission said no to a recall petition for the Cayo Northeast Constituency. Elvin Penner, the disgraced former minister of state, was found to have issued a passport to a South Korean fugitive. But a recall was turned down because the commission took issue with a number of signatures by voters of the area. While that is a serious matter, we did light of the situation in a parody called Belizean Recall and Order. So get ready to roll in laughter with the following clip.

{Highlight of parody…}

  1. Ali BaBarrow, the god of 40 says:

    So let’s go with the idea that the Elections and Boundaries commission are not run by crooks, like the rest of the government.

    I know this is hard to believe, but entertain the thought seriously before laughing. Just like the Benque police saying a machete wielding man chopping another man with a baby is not attempted murder, and there are witnesses who saw it all and intervened and saved the man and baby from death.

    What I cannot understand about the PUP (who presumably will take over the next government run by Fonseca) is why the PUP can find enough people to show up at the Elections and Boundaries commission office with legal documents showing they can vote and are truly Belizeans, forget the fake passports that Hulse’s people are putting out.

    If PUP cannot organize something as simple as that to force the recall election; I just got to wonder if they can actually run a government when they get in power. I would think organizing a recall election would be a relatively simple achievement compared to running a government. So I guess it is true that any Belizean with competency has moved out of the country for a better job and safer life not constantly dealing with fools in government.

    Pretty sad PUP. 90% of Belizeans hate this corrupt UDP government and you can’t pull off one recall election!! Perhaps you need bigger Fonseca posters to make it work. Or maybe the UDP minister was correct in warning you that soon PUP will be back in power, don’t rock the boat if you want to get your share of stealing.

    Which is it PUP?
    Fools who can’t get a hard on?
    Crooked and don’t want to play hardball knowing you are as crooked as them?
    Or just unpatriotic overlords and could not give a rat’s ass about the people?
