Channel Five women say “I do” in record numbers

You might have noticed that over the last five months, there have been a few name changes here at Channel Five and tonight we thought we’d explain why. At four-thirty last Friday afternoon, after three years of courtship, our very own Jacqueline Woods officially became Mrs. Murray Anthony Godwin following a brief ceremony at the Belize City Registry. Jackie’s husband, better known as Tony, is a retired Major in the U.S. Army.

Moving right along, it’s been three months of wedded bliss for News Five’s Karla Heusner as on January fourteenth she exchanged rings with Trevor Christopher Vernon under the coconut trees of Saint George’s Caye. Karla and Trevor are parents to two girls, Julia and Emily Rose.

And rounding out our bridal party are two Channel Five employees: personnel manager Mary Rhaburn and Chief Master Control Operator Chris Mangar tied their knot on New Year’s Eve following a mass at Central Assembly of God on Freetown Road.

We wish all the couples a long and happy life together.
