Habitual crime suspect shot six times
He has been linked to several major crimes in the past, but tonight twenty-six year old Aniver Palacio is in the news as the victim of a shooting. Authorities say around seven on Sunday night Palacio was shot at least six times, including one shot at close range to the head, as he sat on his bicycle in front of Kings Restaurant on Central American Boulevard. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Chester Williams says they believe an earlier incident the same day may have triggered the incident.

?Upon arrival, Aniver Palacio was seen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body. He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. After the x-rays yesterday the doctor diagnosed his injuries as being not life threatening, purely flesh wounds.?
?From what we gathered during the investigation and also from Palacio himself, was that sometime yesterday morning an incident started between him and the two accused and that incident was what led up to the shootings.?
Acting on community information, police were able to arrest two suspects. Elvis Hamilton and Elsworth Jones have since been charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and dangerous harm. Palacio remains admitted to ward at the K.H.M.H.
