Butane goes up again
The cost per hundred pound cylinder of butane or liquid petroleum gas is on the rise yet again, as prices across the country have inched a few dollars higher. The new adjustments came into effect on Saturday. In Belize City, the price is now a hundred and twenty-eight dollars; Belmopan and San Ignacio, a hundred and thirty dollars, Benque Viejo, a hundred and thirty-one dollars. In the north, in Orange Walk, a hundred pound cylinder of sixty-forty mixture of butane retails for a hundred and twenty-nine dollars; Corozal, a hundred and twenty-eight dollars. In Dangriga and Punta Gorda the prices are a hundred and thirty-two and a hundred and thirty-three dollars, respectively.
