Granddaughter of former government minister dies in an accident in the U.S.

There are confirmed reports that Kristen Melissa Young, the granddaughter of former Minister of Health Joe Coye has died during a horrific road traffic accident in Diamond Bar, California.  Coye left today for California to be with his daughter at this difficult time. The collision on the West-bound land of the sixty Freeway at five am on Sunday resulted in the deaths of six persons, five woman and one man. Preliminary investigations show that a red Chevy Camaro being driven by twenty-one year old Olivia Culbreath was going in the wrong direction on the Westbound lane when it slammed into a Ford Explorer. All four persons traveling in the explorer died on the spot. Three persons including Kristen were ejected from the vehicles. Because of the mangled condition of the vehicles it was difficult to establish who was in which vehicle at the scene of the accident.  Twenty-one year old Kristen was a passenger in the Camaro which was driven by Culbreath. Because of a beer can found in the Camaro, Culbreath was arrested and is under Police guard while she recovers from wounds received during the accident. Kristen was the daughter of Joe Coye’s daughter Ann-Marie. She allegedly died instantly.
