Accused murderer, Jarod Arthurs Lamb, escapes
A second prisoner has escaped from custody while en route to a court hearing. Earlier this month, on February fourth, twenty-nine year old Edwin Paula, an inmate at the Belize Central Prison, escaped while being transported to Belmopan for a court appearance. Paula was accused, along with three other persons, of an array of charges, including murder and attempted murder for the brazen University of Belize and La Choza bar robberies in Belmopan. He is still at large, but tonight, there is another inmate that escaped custody, as he was being transported from the Hattieville Prison to appear in court. Police say that at about nine-thirty this morning, San Ignacio Police left Prison en route to San Ignacio. On board the van were seven prisoners, including twenty-five year old Jarod Arthurs Lamb. According to police, while in the vicinity of Ontario Village, a loud bang was heard. When the driver checked, Lamb managed to free himself from the handcuff and jumped from the back of the van. Lamb is currently on remand, along with Marvin Neal, for the January 2013 murder of Steven Valencia at his home on La Loma Luz Boulevard in Santa Elena Town. There is now a manhunt in effect for his capture. According to Deputy O.C. of the San Ignacio Police Formation, Inspector Reymundo Reyes, checkpoints have been set up in the Blackman Eddy Village in an effort to detain Lamb, who is considered armed and dangerous.
Again, this person is a known useless waste. Put it down, there is nothing you can do about such a person. It’s too late. Stop wasting tax payers money.
How is it that these prisoners are escaping so easily?? He “freed” himself from the handcuffs??? are these handcuffs made of plastic or what??
