Man detained for shooting at old girlfriend

In police news, Belize City cops have arrested a man after he opened fire on his former girlfriend, her child, and a male companion. Reports are that around three-thirty on Thursday evening, thirty year old Aloma Ashon, her five year old son, and her boyfriend were walking in the Water Hole area near Wagner?s Lane when her old flame rode up to them, took out a handgun, and started pulling the trigger. Unbelievably, none of the bullets found their mark and the shooter was later detained by authorities. Late this evening police informed us that they have charged Marlon Budran with two counts of aggravated assault in connection with the incident.
