American man conned out of $1500
An American man trying to cheat the system is tonight lamenting his empty pockets after he was conned out of more than a thousand dollars by a local “whappist”. According to forty-seven year old Ray Michael Wheeler, in September he met a woman who claimed to be a government employee. The woman convinced Wheeler she could get a work permit for him without any hassle. The price tag? Fifteen hundred dollars. Wheeler agreed, but shortly after handing over the cash, the woman disappeared. Police are now seeking that person for questioning.
