Western Highway accident leaves villager critical
A traffic accident on the Western Highway has left a resident of Esperanza Village fighting for her life. Police reports are that around six-thirty on Tuesday, thirty-two year old Ann Marie Thompson was knocked down by a Land Rover, driven at the time by sixty-eight year old Henry Lisbey. Thompson was rushed to the nearest hospital but has since been transferred to the K.H.M.H. She remains admitted to ward in critical condition, suffering from severe head and body injuries. According to the cops, Lisbey has told them that as he drove through the village he heard a loud noise coming from the front of his vehicle and then realized that he had just hit someone. Up to news time tonight no charges had been filed against Lisbey.
