Former employee, 2 others remanded for Princess heist
Police have arrested and charged three men in connection with the robbery of thousands of dollars from the Princess Hotel and Casino. This afternoon former Princess employee twenty-two year Alfred Conorquie, along with twenty-one year old Leon Rodriguez and twenty-four year old Callum Sutherland, was escorted to Magistrate’s Court and arraigned for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. All three men were remanded to prison until March second. According to employees of the Princess, around nine-thirty on Monday they were transporting thirty-three thousand, five hundred and fifty dollars from the front desk to the accounts office when a lone gunman approached them and took the money bag. We are told that the break in the case came after at least one of the accused admitted involvement in the crime during police questioning.
