One charged for stabbing on Boots Crescent
A resident of the Junesville area in Saint Martin’s is spending his first night at the Hattieville prison after he was denied bail for Attempted Murder. Forty-four year old Herman Egbert Card is accused of trying to kill twenty-one year old Derwin Ferguson. He was remanded to prison until August twenty fifth. The incident in question occurred at around seven twenty-five on Saturday night when Ferguson was stabbed while standing on Boots Crescent. Ferguson says he was having a conversation with a friend when a man he identified as “Card” approached him and began to struggle with him. During the struggle the man stabbed him four times to the mid section. Aside from his Attempted Murder charge, Card also faces one count of Use of Deadly Means of Harm and one count of Dangerous Harm.
