Preschool receives donation from Loyola Relief Org

Story PictureStarlight Baptist Preschool might be one of the smallest learning centres in the city, but there’s no denying that it still provides a valuable service to the dozen children it cares for in the Port Loyola Division. Today the young students took a short break from their activities to allow The Loyola Emergency Relief Organisation to officially hand over a much needed donation. According to head teacher Sabrina Muschamp, the filing cabinet and teacher’s desk will greatly enhance their work.

?Well we use to store it on top of the library for the children them, but now we will be able to put it in something safer and more organised like you said.?

Noreen Martinez, Executive Dir., Loyola Emergency Relief Org
?Well this is our first major donation to our community. We do other counselling programmes and socialising with older people in the area and different schools.?

?Education is the key element to our future generation and we decided we would start in our community to help the younger kids grow up to be more.?

Starlight Baptist Preschool was established in 2004 and is located on Lionel Tillett Street in Port Loyola.
