Football reigned over the weekend; Kaya Cattouse has the stats

Good evening, I’m Kaya Cattouse and this is Sports Monday

Sunday evening at the Ladyville football field, Belize District Stars hosted San Antonio F.C. in the 2014 F.F.B. President’s Cup. Alexander Innis plays the ball inside the area to his teammate but the ball was defeated and landed directly in front of Victor Morales who wasted no time and launched towards the goal to shake the nets. Carlos Lino mishandles this ball and he will later have to pay the price. Christian Pena takes it right off Lino’s foot and makes the long pass to Russell Cassanova. Cassanova clears the defender, passes the keeper and pats it into the goal! Carlos Lino makes this bad pass to Floyd Jones. Trevoe Daniels intercepts it, Daniels to Christian Pena, Pena back to Daniels. Daniels then finds Cassanova. Cassanova plays the ball across the goal to the far port…fumbled once, fumbled twice and on the 3rd try, Ian Daniels manages to get it right and sound the 3rd goal to give San Antonio the 3 – 0 victory over Belize District Stars.
