Interpol asking pointed questions about C.E.O. of CYNK
Interpol and federal agencies are asking very pointed questions about Belizean Javier Romero; the President, C.E.O., Secretary, Treasurer and Director of Cynk Technologies…a five billion dollar social networking company – at least on paper. Romero has been traced to a small town in Massachusetts, where he reportedly moved to months ago. Before that, he was working as a ranger for the Fisheries Department in Belize. But financial analysts and stock market experts can’t stop talking about the penny stock, development-stage company…incorporated in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008. The money-speak is complicated, but here it is in a nutshell – the company has no assets and only Romero as employee, but late last week had a worth on paper of about five billion dollars after a trading frenzy on the stock market. The US Securities and Exchange Commission, which regulates the securities industry and stock exchanges, moved in on Cynk late last week and closed down trading until July twenty-fourth. Like we said, it’s complicated – and nobody’s talking.

Investigations have showed that the company has had at least four persons in charge since it began trading – all four acted as President, C.E.O., Secretary, Treasurer and Director of the company at different times. We’ll continue to follow this story.
