Maid & caretaker charged with murder of American man
Two arrests have been made in the murder of an American man in San Pedro and police believe a third person may have been involved. Seventy-one year old Leston Langdon of Coconut Drive was found dead on Sunday morning at his home on the island. According to autopsy reports, he suffered a ruptured skull due a blow to the head. The prime suspects were two of his employees and tonight his maid, Maria Del Carmen Maaz and property caretaker Mauricio Chiac, both twenty-two years old, have been charged with murder and abetment to commit murder. Police are investigating the possibility that another person, whose identity is not yet known, may also have had a part in the killing.
