Pallotti Music School to hold concert Sunday night
This weekend the Pallotti Music School is presenting their annual Christmas Concert with an all star line-up. The Sunday night programme is scheduled to feature students both past and present, as well as violin teacher Gilles Rabinovitch and his wife, professional musician Veronique Barone. This week, News Five spoke with guest artist Daniela Gongora during a practice session for a preview of the event.
Daniela Gongora, Guest Artist
?It?s an annual Christmas concert, but this year we?ve somehow collaborated with all the other past alumni from the music school, including myself, Alysa Berbey, Davina Loskot, Courtenay Gillette, Shawn Tewes and Christopher DeShield I think. We are all away studying and just coming back and performing.?
?We are also having the young students, the small groups, the senior groups, the junior group, and you know the music school has just expanded so much.?
?It should be really good and we are also fundraising for a new school. We have some CDs that have some folk songs, some classical tunes, and we are trying to sell those there as well.?
The show begins at six Sunday evening at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts. Tickets are twenty dollars.
