Discoverseis Says Reports of Missing Explosives are False

In the wake of the unexplained disappearance of Hattieville chairman Kevin Carcamo, reports have been spreading like wildfire across the community that the company, for which he worked, had lost a cache of high-powered explosives.  Over the weekend, the reports concerning the loss of charges from Discoverseis’ in Hattieville led to a police raid being conducted in the village.  While the exercise proved fruitless, the speculation, according to Assistant Project Manager Marvin Manzanero, has been baseless.  Manzanero told News Five earlier that despite a massive fire which destroyed a significant number of company equipment used for geophysical activity within the contract area, all explosives had been used in recent operations within Freetown Sibun.
