GSU Finds More Weed and Guns
The Gang Suppression Unit is reporting a significant drug and ammo bust. The Unit carried out an operation in a bushy area near mile twelve on the George Price Highway. They found a red sack with the markings “El Quetzal Guatemala, Centro America Zona La Terminal.” The sack contained twenty-three point five kilos of suspected cannabis which amounts to fifty-one pounds. The GSU believes that the weed is smuggled from Guatemala and stashed in the area by a well-known drug dealer from the Faber’s Road Area. The drug is then bagged and transported undetected through the check points in private and public transportation. Shortly after the find, the GSU proceeded to Nurse Findley Crescent where another search took place on an empty lot at the corner of Faber’s Road and Nurse Findley Crescent. In a plastic bag, the GSU found live rounds of ammo. No one was arrested for the cannabis and the ammo. a
