Naked man charged with attempted burglary

A Belize City man has been arrested after he was busted stark naked running away from his neighbour?s house. According to reports, twenty-one year old security guard Luis Reyes appeared in Belize City Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded not guilty to attempted burglary. Reyes was granted bail in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars and ordered to stay clear of his neighbour. We understand that around two a.m. on Wednesday, Reyes’ neighbour Godfrey Elliot was asleep in his bed when he heard the sound of someone tampering with his window. When he got up to investigate, Elliot was shocked to see Reyes without a stitch of clothing on his body running away. Elliot charged out of the house and tried to capture Reyes, but the man managed to escape. He was later rounded up by police. The case has been adjourned until January ninth.
