Where is Denvo Banner Duhaney? Is he dead or alive?
Have you seen Denvo Banner Duhaney? The twenty-seven-year-old resident of Lemonal village in the Belize District has been missing for approximately ten days and his family fears the worst. “String”, as he is affectionately known by family and peers, was last seen socializing in the village at a victory party and since then, no one has seen or heard from him. Relatives have been out in the village putting up flyers and posters in search of the six feet four inches tall construction worker. His sister, Arlene Banner, came to News Five studio today asking for assistance in locating Duhaney.
Arlene Banner, Sister of Missing Person
“He was at a victory party on the ninth of this month but we never bother that much because sometimes he woulda come down and be at other family members. But his uncle called and wanted him to do something for him and that’s when we started to look around and then we got no response that nobody seen him and that’s why we got concerned about what happened and how comes he is missing so long.”
Duane Moody
“How old is he and you said that he was at a victory party. Tell us about when he was last seen.”
Arlene Banner
“He was last seen at the victory party in Lemonal village; that’s the last time they saw him on the dance floor. So far we are trying to investigate if he left with anybody if any vehicle he got into, but no response. Nobody saw anything but see him on the floor dancing. Help with construction or he woulda play cricket.”
Duane Moody
“What do you believe to have happened to him?”
Arlene Banner
“I can’t say and I really don’t know. I wish I could know because he is a person like this… if he is going anywhere or going to the other sister out district, he would say where he is going. And the last place he mentioned he was supposed to go was Orange Walk with my other sister, but we called and he hasn’t been there. He hasn’t been at the one in Crooked Tree and he hasn’t been in Belize because if he was here in Belize one of us or somebody would have seen him down here.”
Duane Moody
“Is it possible that he is with a friend and just hasn’t been in contact with the family?”
Arlene Banner
“Well if he is with a friend, I guarantee yo, if he saw what we put out there already he would have called us already contacted us by now.”
Duane Moody
“Tell us about the efforts that you guys have been doing to try and locate him.”
Arlene Banner
“Well we contact the police already. They are in Lemonal right now doing a search and investigation. We were up there. We have flyers around.”
