No Trace of Hattieville Chairman After 6 Weeks

Kevin Carcamo

The family of Denvo Banner is grieving his loss, but their grief is somewhat tempered by the comfort of closure in the tragedy. The family of missing Hattieville Chairman forty-three year old Kevin Carcamo, however, has not had the benefit of closure. He went missing on July twentieth, and on August first, search teams found what they believed to be the first bit of tangible evidence in the mysterious disappearance of Carcamo – a bush stick on the banks of the Sibun covered in what appeared to be blood. Scenes of Crime personnel on the scene confirmed that it was human blood, and sent it away for testing. But tonight the family of Kevin Carcamo is back at square one. Police sources told News Five this evening that the tests came back negative, and the red matter was resin from a tree, and not blood. Carcamo, a linesman for geological survey company Discoverseis, was last seen heading to work in a densely forested area behind Freetown Sibun. Intensive and exhaustive searches launched by the company, Police and B.D.F., family members and friends have been unsuccessful.
