Crooked Tree farmer charged with school break-in
A farmer from Crooked Tree Village has been arrested and charged for stealing food and drinks from the children of that community. According to court reports, thirty-five year old Curtis Flowers has been formally arraigned on charges of burglary, keeping unlicensed ammunition, and handling stolen goods. Flowers is the man police believe broke into the Crooked Tree Government School building between the eighteenth and nineteenth of November and stole fourteen frozen chickens, several packs of Can Can biscuits, fifteen bottles of Crystal juices, a case of soft drink, and forty bags of corn chips. When Flowers’ home was searched by cops, in addition to finding some of what is believed to be the stolen items, they also discovered a twelve gauge cartridge and a point thirty-eight bullet. Magistrate Margaret Gabb McKenzie denied Flowers bail and he has been remanded to Hattieville prison until December ninth.
