The human skull along with other remains was found approximately fifteen feet off one of the main roads into Vista Del Mar. The gruesome discovery was made a man chopping grass in the area. One of the first to arrive on the scene was area resident Adolf Vancolbier who called the police.
Adolf Vancolbier, Witness/Area Resident
?The skull was there and the ribs and the bones. And I called the police from there and they came and picked up everything that they found there and they interviewed the man who found the skeleton. It appears to be a man, but I have been told there and it has been there for quite a while. I of course cannot say for how long.?
Amongst the remains, which were scattered over the area, was a brown belt and blue pants. Ladyville police processed the scene of the discovery and then bagged the remains.

?It was in pieces, meaning the skull was here, the ribs were further in, and the tight bones were somewhere else. And we found even outside here a couple bones. The skull was intact, but it was not attached, nothing was attached to each other.?
Police say it is not known how long the remains may have been at the location. Although the find was made only a short distance away from where Vancolbier resides, he says he is not disturbed over the incident.
Adolf Vancolbier
?Oh no, well let?s put it this way: I?m not going to lose any sleep. I feel sorry for the person who died there and under what circumstances we all don?t know of course. I feel sorry for the person.?
