Ryan Jones Appears in Court for Patricide Hearing

After spending months behind bars, Ranchito resident Ryan Jones appeared this morning in the Magistrate Court to answer to a charge of murder.  Ryan is accused with the shooting death of his father, Hensley Jones, on New Year’s Day at his house in Ranchito.  At his court appearance, however, police were unable to provide disclosure so Ryan’s attorney requested of the court that the charges against the accused be withdrawn.  But that did not happen and Ryan will return to court in January 2015. Hensely Jones was shot to the head multiple times and succumbed to his injuries twenty-five days later at the K.H.M.H.
