Police Investigate Shooting in Belmopan

Belmopan Police are also looking for one man after a shooting incident on Friday night. According to the report, at around eleven fifteen that night Police were called to a nightclub on Hummingbird Avenue where they found thirty-nine year old Belmopan resident Daniel Castillo suffering from a gunshot wound to the chin. Castillo told Police that he was at the bus stop near the club talking to another man when an unknown shooter came from behind the club and shot him. Castillo was taken to the Western Regional Hospital and then on to the K.H.M.H. where he is listed in a stable condition. Police recovered one expended three eighty bullet from the scene.
