Suspect in car break-in caught in the act…

A Belize City man caught red handed stealing a car radio has been charged in Magistrate’s Court. According to reports, around six on Saturday evening police responded to a tip that someone was breaking into a vehicle on Doris Brooks Street. When the cops arrived at the scene, they found a Chevy Blazer with a broken rear window and upon looking inside, there on the backseat was twenty-two year old Alfred Humes with the vehicle’s car radio beside him, a Phillips screw driver in one hand, and a flashlight in the other. Humes was immediately detained and was subsequently charged with damage to property, attempted theft and going equipped to steal.
