Employee detained for theft from same bus line
As if they didn’t have enough to worry about, over the weekend Novelo’s Bus Company was the victim of a burglary. According to police reports, sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning the company’s safe was broken into and twelve thousand dollars was removed. Cops suspected an inside job and they searched the residence of a company employee where they found over three thousand dollars in cash which could not be accounted for. The suspect has been detained pending charges and more arrests are anticipated.
