Robber hits Queen Square Market vendor
Tonight Belize City police continue to look for a man who held up a family by their vending stand and stole their day’s sales. Santos Zabaleta told police that around four on Tuesday evening she was along with her husband Fermin Zabaleta and other family members at the Queen Square Market when a man approached them brandishing a handgun. The assailant then demanded money and grabbed Santos’s apron containing one hundred and fifty dollars. Police say the suspect has been identified as a resident of Raccoon Street and is being sought for questioning.
