Stabbing leaves minor with punctured lung/wounded eye
A minor was stabbed last night in the Allen Pitts Crescent area of Port Loyola and is currently receiving treatment for his injuries. The fifteen year old was stabbed several times to various areas of his body. His right lung was punctured and doctors say he will most likely lose his right eye. But what caused the brutal stabbing? Well, it is alleged that the youth threw a stone at a vehicle which was occupied by two brothers, twenty-four year old Denton and nineteen year old Giovanni Requeña. The men, now in police custody, are stepsons of K-9 unit’s Sergeant Brent Hamilton. It is alleged that the minor was stabbed by Giovanni. The Requeña brothers are expected to be charged with Attempted Murder and Maim this Thursday. Last year Denton had accused a police corporal Tejeda of extortion. That charge against the officer was recently dismissed.
