Double Head Cabbage Cab Driver Charged for Snapping Pics of Female Minor
A Double Head Cabbage taxi driver is in trouble with the law after he made the mistake of approaching a twelve-year-old student, told her he liked her then took out his cell phone and took a picture of the minor. According to the law, it adds up to a mischievous act, and tonight for that offense, the taxi-driver is on remand at the Belize Central Prison while he awaits his fate in the matter. Forty-one-year-old Kenrick Croft was on the run since October twenty-first, 2014, but on Wednesday, police caught up with him and charged him for committing a Mischievous Act. According to the police, the student reported that she was standing at the Pallotti bus stop when Croft, who was in the area of the taxi stand, saw her and came over to the bus stop saying he liked her and then proceeded to photograph her. The minor was annoyed and frightened and told her parents who accompanied her to make a report to the police. Croft was detained and charged before Magistrate Stephanie Gillett; he wasted no time and pleaded guilty to the charge of Mischievous Act. But he was remanded into custody until November third for sentencing.
