Police Suspect Foul Play in Disappearance of Roaring Creek Man
While the body of Welcome Junior was discovered inside his house, in Roaring Creek, Belmopan Police, Coast Guard personnel and residents of the village are currently searching the river for the body of Kerwin Mendoza. Police would not confirm whether Mendoza has been killed, but Superintendent Howell Gillett went on record to say that there is sufficient evidence to indicate that he was gravely injured in a fight in the village at seven a.m. Since then, the Roaring Creek resident has not been seen or heard from. The Officer Commanding the Belmopan Police Formation says that they have two persons in custody, who were embroiled in an altercation with Mendoza prior to his disappearance.

“Sir where exactly did this altercation happen?”
Via Phone: Supt. Howell Gillett
“It happened at an area in Roaring Creek known as the zinc fence area, but the body, if there is a body, our investigation is leading us to a certain part of the creek just behind that residence.”
Duane Moody
“Now this altercation between him and these persons…is it an ongoing rival between them, is it gang related?”
Via Phone: Supt. Howell Gillett
“No, no, it is not gang related. It is just something that erupted during last night and we believe this is what caused the incident.”
