Oprah confirms Belizeans will get reward money

With the accused fugitive sex offender safely transported from Belize to a jail cell in Ohio, legendary talk show host Oprah Winfrey today dedicated her show to thanking those people responsible for the apprehension of Niles Scott and a second child predator arrested in North Dakota. And while Oprah personally presented cheques to a pair of viewers who fingered the North Dakota fugitive, she reported that the recipients of the hundred thousand dollar reward for the Belize bust are as yet undecided.

“The F.B.I. is working with local police in Belize to help sort out who will receive the reward money. By now everybody’s going, “it was me, it was me, it was me.” It may be split between several people, but whomever, we thank you for making the phone call to the F.B.I. We’ll keep you posted.”
